Whitelabel Blog
Yesterday, we launched a new look ScratchLive.net! It hasn't changed toooooo much, so for the power users of the website everything will look familiar. We've just added a few new features and made it run a bit faster/smoother. All and all, the web team have done a great job on this (the new forum rules!).
Time for some cake to celebrate! I <3 the icing sugar stencil on top.
I know I'm a little late on this, but just incase you missed it, the LiveFeed competition winners were announced last week. A big big thanks goes out to everyone who entered - hopefully you guys get a feel for what LiveFeed is really all about and will continue to experiment with it in live performace.
Congratulations to Kool DJ Sheak One who took out the competition to win a whole swag of limited edition vinyl. Here was his winning submission:
For more of the videos from people who entered, check out the final list here. Ka pai to everyone for entering!
Come to our party! It's New Zealand music month and we're celebrating with some of NZ's finest DJs.
Haven't figured out how we're going to giveaway our swag - suggestions anyone? "Best skid on a fixie" will not be accepted as an appropriate answer.
In this part of the world (or maybe just in NZ), May is New Zealand Music Month. It might seem weird to some of you, I mean, there's not an "American Music Month" (is there?). But we here in Aotearoa are a small country, with a surprisingly thriving music industry.
We love our local music and with good reason: we have a long tradition of taking genres like reggae, hip hop, soul and rock and putting our own pacific spin on it that rules! This month, we've chosen to showcase some of it right here on Whitelabel.net. Read more for our featured releases.
