Last night, the Serato crew headed along to the Numbers party at Razzmatazz in Barcelona. Coming straight out of Glasgow, Numbers has an impressive roster of artists for such a young label. They have some serious releases under their belt, boasting some of the most quality, future music that is around today.

The party was a veriable whos-who of the UK scene's best DJs with sets being played by Rustie, Deadboy, L-Vis 1990, Bok Bok, Spencer, Jackmaster, Hudson Mohawke, Elijah & Skilliam, Swindle and heaps more. It was pretty damn cool. Took some flicks of the night in between dancefloor sessions:

Day 3 began with an early start and a well needed large breakfast. We got home late/early from Sonar by Night, but were keen to go check out the last day at Sonar by Day.

First we headed along to the Hepcat Radio show live from Discos Paradiso, where the lovely Mamiko Motto had some of her friends (including Hudson Mohawke, The Blessings, Lunice and Spencer) broadcast live from the record store.

Pretty cool place to have a radio show - we listened to loads of good people play small sets, and got to buy vinyl at the same time. Yes please.

After a quick bite, headed back just in time to see Jackmaster play at SonarDome and it was packed out. Not hard to see why - he smashed it. He played all sorts of stuff, playing stuff from Chaka Khan, Ramadanman, DJ Technic and Aphex Twin, but when he played Teardrops by Womack and Womack, I lost my mind. Sorry to the people trying to dance around me when that tune was on. Hard core party set, can't wait to be able to catch him again somewhere else.

Headed to the LuckyMe showcase last night, but weren't allowed to take photos sorry (dumb). All I have is this (shitty) photo of a mysterious hippo called John Computer:

Heading to the Numbers Off-Sonar party tonight, sure to be good times with the crew. Mas pronto!

Friday night was the first big Sonar by Night party. Serato crew headed along to the SonarLab where Mary-Anne Hobbs was doing a showcase. She played a set herself, and invited Flying Lotus, Joy Orbison, Roska and Jamie George to join her on the line-up. What a show!

All who played showcased some serious future music and the crowd loved every minute of it. All the way through to the late set from Hudson Mohawke who was joined on stage by Olivier Daysoul. Olivier - what a voice! We took some great videos on stage so we'll have to edit them up as soon as we get back. Did some shape throwing side stage with the crew, which was more wrong than it was right. Crazy night!

Things are mad hectic over here right now, so much to see and do! Caught Dizz1 at the Red Bull Stage in the morning - some serious heavy bass business coming from this man. He's already using Scratch Live and Ableton on stage, so no doubt this guy will be able to do some serious damage with The Bridge.

Went and caught King Midas Sound in Sonar Hall - Kevin Martin is a blimmin' genius. He also played at the Hyperdub party the other night at Mondo and dropped "Informer" by Snow. Easily my biggest tune of the night. What a don!

The soundcheck for the Mary-Anne Hobbs presents stage at Sonar by Night - more photos of the night itself to come.

Heading to Hepcat Radio today at Discos Paradisos, will do some more blogging this afternoon. Hasta luego!

First day at Sonar, and the sun was shining on the Serato team. Got up early to get the ever important addition to our travelling circus - animal masks:

Headed to the festival and caught a bunch of great acts at Sonar (by Day). The festival is incredible - of course, it's set in Barcelona, which is such an amazing city!

I'll get better city photos soon, I promise.

We checked out heaps of acts on the first day, including Teri Gender Bender and Caribou! Met up with good friends Ableton and Novation, and made a lot of new friends - shouts to the Mixcloud and Bleep/Warp crew.

After a quick stop(blog/eat) at the apartment, we headed to Mondo where we checked out the Hyperdub party - what a line up! Saw killer killer sets from Darkstar, The Bug, Flying Lotus, Ikonika and Cooly G.

More photos and updates to come over the next couple of days - King Midas Sound playing tomorrow night, and Serato will be covering from the BBC Stage at Sonar by Night. Stay tuned!
